Wow it was so good I wanted to eat more than one serving. I didn’t have almonds therefore used pecans. And I bought broccoli slaw. Delicious!

I had to change up a bunch of things in this recipe to use what I had, but this recipe seems very flexible! I used hazelnuts instead of almonds, shallot instead of red onion, and no blueberries. (I was going to use strawberries instead but I realized they were all moldy when I opened the package so I just skipped. I thought apples would probably be good, too.) I also had some homemade lemon-mustard vinaigrette leftover so I just added a splash to the tahini and maple and it was excellent. The tahini really makes it. If anyone is thinking of making this, don’t be afraid to experiment! Thanks for a great adaptable recipe!

This salad is so good! I don’t typically like raw broccoli but all the other yummy things combined to made it delicious. I did leave out the red onion and used all cilantro instead of cilantro + parsley, but that’s just a personal preference. I made the dressing exactly according to the recipe and loved it. I made it for a party so I doubled the recipe and it got gobbled up.
