Five million residents in outer growth areas getting heard

The Fund our Future campaign – which calls for a policy shift and a dedicated fund to fix road, rail and health infrastructure problems in fast-growing outer suburbs – has been getting a strong response in the community, media, as well as amongst politicians and industry groups.

To kick off the campaign, state and federal politicians, councils, community members and peak organisations have attended launches in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide over the last few weeks. Each event attracted significant media attention, the first reaching up to 4.1 million people within 24 hours.

Since the campaign started, almost 7000 emails have been sent from the website fundourfuture.info. In that time, we have reached more than 27,000 people through our Facebook page FundourFutureAU and have had almost 15,000 impressions from our Twitter account @FundourFutureAU

We encourage residents, those working in fast-growing outer suburbs and people concerned about the equity and quality of life of our cities to sign and share our petition at www.fundourfuture.info
