Politicians and advisors in Canberra have been updated on the Fund our Future campaign.
The NGAA Chair Glenn Docherty and Executive Officer Ruth Spielman visited the national capital last week to update politicians, including the new Assistant Minister for Cities, the Honourable Angus Taylor, on the campaign. The pair also met with other Ministers, Shadow Ministers, The Greens, cross-bench Senators and their staff to discuss Fund our Future, the research and the Alliance’s recent budget submission.
They discussed ways to progress the proposed fund. This prompted Senator Ricky Muir to speak in the Senate, saying he would be working with both the Federal Government and Opposition to see how a Fund might be established.
Further visits to Canberra are planned in the near future.
